## The proposition

Stargaze turns following a celebrity into a competition between fans. Users browse celebrity feeds and posts, follow the stars they care about, and then appear on a **ranked leaderboard of supporters**, with a payment flow attached. The hook is not the content itself but the status attached to being a top fan, which is what the leaderboard and the payment step exist to serve.

## Design direction

High-saturation and celebratory. A deep indigo-violet brand carries the feed screens with clean white content cards and editorial celebrity photography, then the leaderboard escalates into a magenta and pink radial sunburst to signal reward and spectacle. Engagement metrics are always visible under posts, and a magenta accent marks the primary action throughout, including the follow control and the ranked positions.

## What was designed

- **Stargaze feed** with celebrity cards carrying a portrait, a name and category label, a quote or caption, a timestamp, and engagement counts for likes, comments, and views, with filter and search
- **Feeds detail** supporting video posts with an inline play control alongside the same engagement metrics
- **Celebrities directory** with a Trending Celebrities row showing follower counts per star, a browsable list below, and a prominent follow action
- **Leaderboard**, the centrepiece: an industry switcher across Bollywood, Hollywood, and Tollywood, a top-three podium with a crowned first place and supporter point totals, then a ranked list of fans showing position, avatar, name, home city, and points
- **Payment processing** state, illustrated, closing the loop between supporting a celebrity and spending

## What it demonstrates

Gamification and status mechanics applied to fandom rather than to productivity or loyalty: podium hierarchy, ranked standings, point totals, and a category switcher that lets several fan communities compete separately. Combined with the payment step, it is a compact example of designing **creator or celebrity monetisation** around social status.
